Explain the Sensory Decussation - Feature of Medulla

Some of the sensory nerves ascending to the cerebrum from spinal cord cross from one side to the other in the medulla. Cardiac centers: These control rate and force of cardiac contraction. Sympathetic and parasympathetic fibers originating in the medulla pass to the heart. Sympathetic stimulation increases the rate and parasympathetic decreases.
