• Discuss the roles of exercise, nutrition, and weight in the health of elderly adults.
• Explain the rationale for providing options and teaching coping skills to residents of nursing homes.
• Evaluate whether health care providers treat older adults better or worse than other developmental age groups such as middle-aged or young adults.
