This assessment is divided into two parts. You will complete each part when you have finished studying the relevant topic(s) in the course material. However, you may only submit the entire assessment as one document, for the purpose of marking, when you have completed both parts.
In Part 1 of this written assessment you will:
1. Explain the law of contract as it governs real estate sales contracts.
2. Determine appropriate signatories for a given contract.
3. Explain the provisions of the Residential Tenancies Act 1986 as applied to licensees.
4. Explain the legal implications of the Employment Relations Act 2000 as applied to icensees in relation to sale of businesses.
