a) Explain the process of DNA fingerprinting as you understand it. How can such technology work for both the accused and the prosecutor? How has this undone past injustice?
b) What was one of the early high profile cases in the US in which DNA evidence played a role? There are several but one involved a pair of ill fitting gloves and the accused was released. How has the acceptance of DNA evidence changed since this rather famous case?
