Project Assignment
In a Microsoft Word document of 5 to 6 pages, develop the introduction for your project. Nnote that the title and reference pages should not be included in the total page count of your paper. Be sure to focus on one disease but three audiences (patient, family and staff development). The introduction should:
1) Contain the title of the lesson.
2) Identify and describe the learners.
3) Describe the educational setting:
a. Staff development
b. Patient education
c. Family education
4) Include learner assessments:
a. Educational level
b. Developmental level
c. Readiness to learn, and so forth.
5) Provide a purpose and rationale for selecting the topic/disease.
6) Describe the philosophical or theoretical basis for teaching approaches used in the lesson.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
