We are looking at current workplace trends and activities that have significant impacts on the success of a businesses. HR professionals play a key role in helping organizations navigate evolving laws (both internationally and nationally), business trends, professional certifications, and manage workplace flexibility. As an HR professional it is important for you to demonstrate your understanding of the ever changing global environment.

A. Describe the key functions in Human Resources Management. Explain the manner in which each function contributes to the overall performance of an organization. Give specific examples of the activities HRM managers are normally responsible for.

B. Explain four federal equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws. Describe the chief manner in which each law influences fair employment practices within the organization where you currently work or an organization for which you have worked in the past (if you have not worked in an organization you may use one you hope to work for).

C. There are various trends that impact an organization, for this paper use the following three: the aging workforce, diversity, and skills deficiencies in the workplace. Analyze the primary manner in which each of these three trends has impacts an organization of your choice (one you currently work for or any other organization for which you are familiar). Support your response with specific examples of said impact.

D. The selection and recruitment process is important in moving an organization forward. Explain the best methods of finding and selecting employees for your organization (or one with which you are familiar).

E. Describe the Indirect Financial Compensation, Non-direct compensation, and Non-Financial Compensation.
