The purpose of the paper is to demonstrate an understanding of a current research topic and appropriate methods in the criminal justice field.
You will propose a topic area and provide a a 350-word statement as to the relevance of the topic in the criminal justice field and why the topic is important to you. Include citations for five (5) peer-reviewed journal articles published within the past 5 years, about your topic area, upon which you would like to build your project. Each journal article citation must be in APA format.

What ethical issues might be encountered by a researcher exploring this topic? What political considerations should be taken into account when performing this type of research?
