Discussion: "Restorative Justice Community Action"
Respond to the following:
· The law enforcement profession has existed in the Community Policing era since the 1980s. From the e-Activity, Restorative Justice takes the idea of Community Policing to a different level by focusing on the needs of the victims and offenders. Compare and contrast the elements of Community Policing and Restorative Justice.
· Explain the key successes and failures of both Community Policing and Restorative Justice. Offer a specific direction in which the police and community should move in their partnership in order to reduce crime and disorder.
