Provides an overview of the difference between employees and independent contractors and how the difference affects relationships with physicians. The board would like the presentation to also include discussion of employment issues that are unique to health care providers, such as the need to have decision-making control remain in the hands of healthcare professionals. You have been assigned to prepare the materials.
