Problem 1: Explain the importance of looking at health systems on a global scale
Problem 2: Explain one of the three health systems discussed in class (BEVERIDGE, BISMARCK, OR NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE MODEL). Give an overview of the health system, associated health outcomes, and atleast one strength and weakness of the health system in relation to the country that utilizes it. (i.e., UK untilizes the Beveridge Model)
Problem 3: What are current issues in women's health around the world discussed in class? Why are these issues and how do they pose a threat to health outcomes?
Problem 4: Discuss one of the risk factors for death for young children. Explain why this is a risk factor and how it may impact health outcomes.
Problem 5: What are the differences between PrEP, PEP, and ART and what influence do they have on health outcomes?
Problem 6: Despite the increase in the prevalence of non-communicable diseases worldwide, explain why communicable diseases still are an important global health issue?
Problem 7: Explain the impacts of government involvement on health outcomes as discussed in class - what happened because of their involvement (i.e., did the involvement lead to desired health outcomes or did it result in poorer health outcomes)?
