This time around, we quickly ran through more than 30 years of Mexican history-with hardly enough time to go into important events like the 1968 Tlatelolco massacre, the 1971 Corpus Christi, the 1985 Mexico City earthquake, 1994 (all of it), etc. In this discussion, we'll go into more detail on one of the more recent events that interests you.
Task: Use the National Security Archive or another online primary source repository (like this one, for example) to research an event. In your first post, explain the event-what happened, its context, and its effects-and cite one online primary source.
