Discussion: Ethical Production & Consumption
For this assignment, you will write a paper (a minimum of two pages).
Steps
1. Choose a product with which you are familiar, and/or which you use often (you may also choose a product that your current employer produces). You may not choose any product that uses microbeads and simply copy the assigned readings.
2. Research your chosen product's life cycle, and explain this life cycle in your own words (cite appropriately where needed).
3. Explain the ethical issues (at least 3) related to your product's production, use, consumption, transport, marketing, or any other ethical aspect of its life cycle.
4. Research (and attempt to solve) such ethical issues for the life cycle of your product by taking into consideration its value in the market, the company's ability or willingness to change its current practices, and any other areas that must be considered to make an ethical decision.
