Explain the Digestive System ?
The digestive system takes in food and processes it. Digestion is the mechanical and chemical breaking down of food into a form that can be used by the body. This processing of food, passing along the alimentary canal (the digestive tract) which begins at the mouth and ends at the anus, is accomplished without conscious intervention.
