Create a living will, also know as a directive to physicians and family or surrogates, for you or a relative. Make sure the document complies with the requirements for the State of Texas and get it witnessed or notarized as required by the Texas law.
In a separate document write and or explain the following:
Explain in your own words why a Living Will is an important Estate Planning document? Where you found your living will document/template.
Explain the difference between a living will and a medical power of attorney. Discuss who Terri Schiavo was, and what legal problems her case presented.
