Explain the chapter name describe the key issues discussed

Assignment

The first and last chapters of the book focus on the author, Ann Fessler's search for her mother. Chapters 2-10, however, address different issues related to the experiences of the pregnant young women. While you don't have to write about all the chapters, it is expected you will have read the complete book.

Questions to be answered in your paper:

1. Select two chapters in the book that made a strong impression on your thinking. For each:

a. Identify the chapter name. Describe the key issues discussed and your reactions to them.
b. What choices did the young women have?

2. Overall, how did this book affect your understanding of past adoption practices? What policies and ways of thinking surprised and/or upset you the most? (Comment on material throughout the book, not just on the two chapters discussed In Q1.)

3. If you were (or have been) faced with an unplanned pregnancy today, how do you think that you and your family would react?

Format:

• Create an opening paragraph before moving to the chapter discussions. Rather than inserting quoted material into your paper, use your own words.

• Make sure to respond to all questions.

• Do not insert your responses into this assignment. Create a traditional paper.

• The paper must be checked for spelling and grammar.

Estimated length- 3-4 pages.
