For this homework, select one of the following options.
Poetry
Select any 2 poems about the Holocaust. You can select from the following list of poets/poems or conduct additional research on Holocaust poetry. Make sure to get approval from your instructor if you are selecting something not on the list. Click on the link to see the list:

Write an analysis of each poem, including the following information:
1) Explain the background on the author, especially in relation to the Holocaust.
2) Explain the content of the poem - what story or message is it trying to tell?
3) How does the poem relate to the bigger picture of the Holocaust?
4) How effective is the poem in relating the Holocaust to readers?
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
