Leaders in health care organizations need two critical skills to succeed in their role. These skills are critical thinking and communication. I am a chief executive officer of the community general acute care hospital and employees, medical staff, and patients are very culturally different and speak many languages apart from English. How do I, as the leader, design the effective communication process to make sure quality care, patient safety, and feeling of belonging for all?
