Explain Rolling
Rolling: A pair of cylindrical rollers made of iron or steel rotate in opposite direction with a gap between them which is smaller than the cross section of the piece which is to be rolled. The work piece is inserting into the gap and as it passes among the rolls, it is squeezed, its cross section being progressively reduced. As the working volume remains constant, the result of passing by the rolls would be lengthening of the work piece and a corresponding decrease and shaping of the cross section. ling and Forging
