Explain Protein
Protein is derived from a Greek word "PROTOS" which means "Pre eminent", "jht or foremost" or primary matter. This name was suggested by Berzilius to Dutch Scientist, Gerard Johantrn Mulder, who coined the term protein in 1838. Earlier, protein was described as albuminous material, in that, it resembled albumin or the white of egg.
