The increasing multicultural environment where you live, go to school, and work creates communication challenges that need to be understood.
For this discussion, respond to the following:
a) Share a situation from your personal or professional life where there was a communication breakdown due to perceived cultural differences.
b) After reviewing the information on Communication and Culture in the readings, discuss two strategies that could have been applied to your situation to improve the communication and share why you feel these strategies are appropriate.

a) Explain potential intercultural communication problems.
b) Identify strategies for improving communication with people from other cultures.
