Problem
Each student is responsible for selecting a business process, e.g., manufacturing or service, which is of interest to them and which they would like to improve the process. For the selected business process, each student must:
i. Describe the entire process in a way that if a third person reads the description they can easily plot the value stream map;
ii. Plot the value stream map for the business process;
iii. Identify and explain improvement opportunities within the business process;
iv. Plot the value stream map after implementation of improvement opportunities.
