Remove all personal pronouns (I, me, you, yours, us, we, our, ours). If you are not accustomed to writing without personal pronouns, this may be somewhat brutal. Once you convert a few sentences and omit these pronouns, the process will get easier.
Look for uses of demonstrative and relative pronouns. Overuse of these pronouns is a common writing. For example, instead of writing, "The experts discuss these issues..." write, "The experts discuss racist issues..."
Check for cheap words (big, little, small, very, big, good, pretty, said, went) and replace with more formal vocabulary. This includes introductions to embedded evidence. Vary the sentence structure as you include phrasal in-text citations.

G. Avoid Repetition: To make your annotated bibliography more concise, avoid repeating information about the same sources.
