A. Many people connect their memories and experiences to particular songs and music in general. I would like you to make a similar connection between a song and Alexander the Great. Choose one song from any time period (from today's pop culture or the past) or musical genre (rock, rap, country, etc.) that you believe best represents what you learned about Alexander. This song can represent all of his experiences from becoming king to his death in Babylon or it can represent a particular moment or section of his life. The only songs that are off limits are songs written specifically about Alexander the Great (this includes, but is not limited to Iron Maiden's "Alexander the Great", "The Companions" by Tyler Cunningham, or any song created by history teachers or students about Alexander the Great, etc.).
B. Tell the title and singer/band of the song you chose and describe what it is about.
a. Make sure to describe the song in sentence form. Don't simply copy and paste lyrics.
b. Please do not include curse words or seriously graphic details
C. Explain how the song you chose is connected to what you learned about Alexander the Great. Make sure to fully explain the connection.
