This paper is focused on assessing feasibility of success for an international firm. You will conduct a SWOT analysis of the firm, complete a PESTEL analysis on the new host country, and determine the best entry strategy. Follow the steps below.
i. Perform a SWOT analysis of an existing international firm relating to a new host country market. Explain how the firm could capitalize on its strengths and opportunities and overcome its weaknesses and threats to be successful in the new host country.
ii. Conduct a PESTEL analysis on the new host country and describe how each sector would be advantageous or disadvantageous to the firm.
iii. Define the type of international strategy and international expansion entry mode that the firm would utilize in the new host country. Discuss the pros and cons of using the strategy and entry mode over other possible types of strategies and entry modes.
iv. Explain the cost pressures on the firm to be successful in the new host country.
v. Illustrate the P-O-L-C management framework that the firm would use in the new host country.
