A) Go to Property Crime (under Offenses Known to Law Enforcement) and select one type of offense (burglary, larceny-theft, motor vehicle theft, or arson) and describe the rates, trends, demographic correlations, context, and any other pertinent information about this type of crime. Look at some of the expanded data and tables associated with the type of property crime you selected.
B) Search the internet for another recent news story from the U.S.A. (within the last year) that relates to the type of crime you reported on for part A and discuss details of the case within the context of data provided by the UCR. Explain how the case either does or does not fit into the patterns for this particular type of crime while referencing the reading. Provide a link/URL to the news story.
