Working drawings and specifications jointly describe the built form to be created through a construction project. However, there might be discrepancies within the drawings, within the specifications, or between the two documents. For example, two drawings might show different dimensions for the same item. Or the specifications could describe the same piece of equipment differently in two sections. Or the drawings could indicate a material that is not described in the specification.
Such discrepancies could lead to serious disagreements between the owner, builder and design consultant. Explain how the architect or engineer should deal with those types of discrepancies fairly. Use this week's readings and other resources to support your description.
