Watch the PBS Frontline video "Plastic Wars".
• Explain how much of recyclable plastics are being recycled, and where. How has this effort changed over the past several decades?
• Explain why recycling programs started. What are the problems with the recycling key codes?
• What are some of the solutions proposed to handle the shortcomings of current recycling efforts? Name at least three and describe them.
