The National Preparedness Goal documents 31 core capabilities that address the greatest risks to the nation. The 31 capabilities are grouped into the 5 mission areas of the National Preparedness Goal (i.e., prevention, protection, mitigation, response, recovery)
The National Preparedness Goal is defined as, "A secure and resilient nation with the capabilities required across the whole community to prevent, protect against, mitigate, respond to, and recover from the threats and hazards that pose the greatest risk."
Answer the following questions:
1. Select one of the five missions as it applies to agroterrorism and explain why you think it is most important and why?
2. How prepared do you think we are as a nation in preparing for, protecting against, responding to and recovering from an agroterrorism incident?
