Assignment: Lifespan Development Theory
Select a Lifespan Development Theory that you can compare each stage to your own life.
o Create a word doc
o Select ONE Lifespan Development Theory
o Explain each stage of your selected theory.
o List and compare each stage with your own life up to your present stage. Then name and describe stages that you have not encountered yet.
o Include physical, cognitive, and psychosocial development from prenatal through the last stage of life.
o Define sexual orientation & gender identity based on Week 4's Lesson (Hint: they are not synonymous concepts!). Describe how the development of gender identity occurs based on your selected theory and its impact on personality & sexuality.
o Add at least 4 pictures (illustrations/charts/graphics or videos) and include a caption for each to indicate which stage in which it would occur.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
o Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
