• In your own words, explain what (according to Socrates) is wrong with the claim that something is good because it's loved by God. Then explain what (according to Socrates) is wrong with the claim that something is loved by God because it's good.
• Explain the difference between a normative and a descriptive claim. Then explain why Psychological Egoism is a descriptive, rather than a normative one.
• At one point in the lecture slides Psychological Egoism is described as a metaethical claim. But, at the same time, the view isn't about ethics at all-it's just a theory about our motives (viz. that they are and must be selfish). Explain why Psychological Egoism counts as a metaethical theory.
