In DSM-V significant changes are being proposed to revise diagnostic categories, add new childhood disorders, and incorporate developmental manifestations into the criteria for existing mental disorders. In this paper you are to select ONE disorder (e.g. schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, etc) and examine proposed changes to the diagnosis for DSM-V. This include changes that have been made in existing diagnosis and disorders that are being considered for inclusion in DSM-V that does not currently exist in DSM-IV TR.
