Discuss the importance of nature and the concept of generational independence over time. With these concepts in mind, utilize scholarly or reputable resources to discuss the duties we owe to future generations with respect to nature and natural resources? Consider whether we should leave a more abundant, cleaner world if the tradeoff means slower economic growth for the present generation, or whether we should leave a less abundant, dirtier world, if we can make great advances in technologies.
