Questions: 1. What are the basic steps in the standard outline of the process through which a proposed bill becomes a law? Briefly identify what happens at each stage.
2. Discuss 2 to 3 criticisms of Congress and the general response to those criticisms.
3. Explain how lawmaking is a dynamic, complex political process beyond the textbook model. Give examples of other considerations from introduction to the committee to floor.
