As an independent consultant with the federal government, assess three policies that were implemented during the Great Recession and then explain how those policies helped shape the recovery efforts. During the Great Recession, several industries were bailed out such as the automobile industry and the financial industry. Select any of the bailout policies. Then, be sure your paper includes the following:
i. Explain the benefits that resulted from the policies you chose.
ii. Criticize the overall recovery efforts and identify whether the bailouts were necessary.
iii. Describe alternative policies that could have been drafted instead of the bailout approach to the banking and automobile industries.
iv. Assess any changes those great recession policies might have gone through up to today.
