Explain at least five factors or features that you addressed

Problem

Project C has each student design an environment to achieve a particular purpose, identifying at least five features or variables that have been explicitly considered and designed into that environment.

Relevant to Project C, Sommer (1969) devotes chapters to the design of learning environments, drinking environments (bars, restaurants), and college dormitories, so you can get some ideas there. While these are some possibilities for your design projects, many other possibilities exist. The environment should be one in which social interaction can occur to a greater or lesser extent, depending on the function of that environment, but assume people will be there either in small groups or be there individually as strangers, such as a doctor's waiting room, coffee shop, or airport boarding area. In your design, you should explain at least five factors or features that you addressed in designing that environment, including the rationale for why you designed a specific feature in a particular way. (For example, why did you include floor-to-ceiling windows in an airport lounge? Was it to provide light or to reduce impressions of crowding? Explanation should be provided for this particular design feature.)

Diagrams and/or photographs are encouraged if they supplement or enhance the work done and submitted.

The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
