Explain application areas of computer graphics in different areas.
Early computer graphics has only certain special capabilities such as straight lines circles and ellipses and letters and numbers in simple shapes needed to fulfill the requirements of drafting to replace the drudgery of natural drafting. The variety of graphics tasks that could be accomplished was gradually increased to include transformation and other geometrical modification editing and assemblies variations of line thickness and lettering fonts etc. As the graphics features developed more and uses were found for them in non drafting areas. The cycle of developments and applications has been repeating until computer graphics has permeated all works of life and all daily activities mainly in developed countries and to a great extent in developing countries too. Today computer graphics is used in a variety of fields ranging from routine everyday activities to very specialized areas in widely different fields including business industry and engineering medicine government work education and training advertising research art and entertainment and communication in general.
