Discussion Post: Psychotherapy with Individuals
Select a child or adolescent client whom you observed or counseled this week. Then, address the following in your Practicum Journal:
a) Describe the client (without violating HIPAA regulations) and identify any pertinent history or medical information, including prescribed medications.
b) Using the DSM-5, explain and justify your diagnosis for this client.
c) Explain any legal and/or ethical implications related to counseling this client.
d) Support your position with evidence-based literature.
The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
