Ridge relationship is also critical especially in cases with multiple implants and fixed prosthesis, which is an advanced treatment procedure. In cases wherein such a discrepancy is very prominent, making a fixed full arch implant supported prosthesis to articulate with a buccal overjet on the lower, would have a very large buccal cantilever and transmit very high forces on occlusal loading. Therefore, in such cases you should avoid such planning.
