3. Watch the YouTube video The problem with "ban the box" which explains how the Ban the Box movement may exacerbate labeling issues.
Part 2:
The Ban the Box movement has become a controversial topic. Some argue that the movement is helpful in addressing labels of criminals. Others argue that the movement might actually worsen the labeling issue.
In 2 to 3 pages, write an essay on labeling theory and Ban the Box in which you address each of the following:
(1) Explain labeling theory in detail.
