• Industry and organization this section provides an assessment of influential trends in the hospitality industry relating to your facility and background detail on the organization. This includes: o Review of the hospitality industry: current status and prospects, i.e. any new services, developments, trends o Description of your organization: brief overview o Operational philosophy: How the proposed facility is consistent with current operations of the organization. The financial, social and equity philosophy of your organization and how these ideals and values impact on the operation of your facility. o SWOT analysis: Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats

• Facilities design: General information about the design of your chosen facility o Include two factors from: layout, materials, type of construction, equipment, systems o Space allocation: number of guestrooms, conference rooms, recreational areas, function spaces, F&B outlets, and administration offices - brief description

• Operations management: o chooses an area and prepares the economic systems including at least 5 inputs, 5 processes and 5 outputs.
