View images of Bernini's David (image 17.24, page 375) and Shiva as Nataraja (image 16.30, page 341) and respond to the following: Much great art throughout history was created in the service of power AND religion. Explain how references to both are contained in each of these images. Next, find and post an example of a contemporary (from the 20th or 21st centuries) artwork that addresses power or religion, preferably both. State your reasoning for what you selected.
