Solution:
There are 3 successful outcomes for rolling less than a 4, (i.e. 1,2,3). The probability of rolling a 3 or less is:
3/(3+3) = 3/6 = 1/2 or 50%.
A probability of drawing a black ball is:
7/(7+3) = 7/10.
Thus, the probability of both events happening at the similar time is:
7/10 x 1/2 = 7/20.
