Research a case that illustrates the role of the U.S. Conference of Mayors within the context of homeland security. Within the context of this case, explain how the U.S. Conference of Mayors interfaces with responsibilities and functions across agencies at various jurisdictional levels that mitigate hostilities, threats, hazards, and consequences
In addition, examine the skills needed by mayors of U.S. cities to identify, evaluate and resolve complex policy issues within the context of homeland security.
Finally, argue whether mayors of U.S. cities should have more, less, or unchanged executive authority within the context of homeland security issues.
