Question: Examine the quality of Odysseus' leadership. As a first step, reflect on your definition of leadership. Are some people born leaders while the rest of us are destined to be followers? Conversely, is it possible for most everyone to acquire leadership skills through study and practice? What qualities do you associate with leadership? Write your definition of leadership in one full paragraph.
Next, review sections of The Odyssey and pick two passages that give a lot of detail about Odysseus' leadership style. In two paragraphs, one for each passage that you selected, develop an analysis of the nature of Odysseus' leadership.
Remember that your claims in all parts of the assignment should be substantiated by excerpts from appropriate sources (scholarly research and/or literary texts).
