Discussion Post: "Westward Ho!"
a) Examine the painting by John Ghast in the Instructor's Insights. Look from right to left, look at light, people, Lady Progress, land, etc.
b) Do a brief google search to find out more about the painting. What did you find? List your source!
c) Now, consider the webtext and find three reasons people moved west.
d) Put these two together. Ghast's painting says westward progress was good. Was it? Explain?
The response should include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
