Assignment task: The purpose of this assignment is to examine the legal aspects of managing a staff. You will make a Legal Quick Guide for employees about human-resource-related laws the employees should be aware of. The Quick Guide should be available for the HR team members.  It is to educate the team members about various laws and how to respond to issues when they arise. Pick at least three laws to include in your chart that are displayed in the Lesson area. Links are provided under the "research" section. You must include the following in the chart:

  • The law or regulation.
  • A brief description of the law.
  • An example of a possible case the HR Dept. might need to address.
  • Explain how the HR Dept. would handle the issue.
  • Appropriate in-text citations with references at the end.
