• Forum Overview: For this forum, you have free reign to investigate other techniques not found in the Lesson or Reading for this week. The purpose of this exercise is for you to become aware of the myriad of techniques available so that you can use a variety to keep the creativity flowing and doesn't become stalled.

• Forum Description: Locate (you may freely use the Internet) at least two additional idea generation techniques that have not been covered in the Lesson or readings for this week. Investigate both techniques and report to the class by completing the following:

1. State the technique and provide the URL for others to locate it
2. Explain how the technique works (minimum 150 words each technique)

"Ideas can be life-changing. Sometimes all you need to open the door is just one more good idea." - Jim Rohn

You don't need to burden yourself with trying to come up with the next big idea, such as MicroSoft. You need to start small, gain experiences, and then your ideas will become bigger with each new venture; that's what Bill Gates did. If you consciously think about problems that need solving for 15 minutes a day it will be enough to make your subconscious mind think (Sedniev, 2013). Carry a small notebook with you so that when your brain starts thinking, you can jot down ideas. Often times these ideas come when least expected and when you don't have a pen and paper to capture them. Of course, you can also use your smart phone or tablet to write these down or audio record. If nothing is available, text yourself your ideas. Just make note of the idea and come back to it later.
