Response papers should be around 1000 words (that's roughly 2 pages if single spaced or 4 pages if double spaced, with standard 12-point font and 1-inch margins.) That's not a firm minimum or maximum number.
Response Bring it all together! Evaluate the political system of Texas. Where does power actually lie? Who actually governs? Whose interests are reflected in the public sphere and in public policy? Is the system, as it is currently operating, adequate to meet the goal of "government of the people, by the people, and for the people?" Briefly revisit your thinking from early in the semester (think: Responses 1, 2, and 3), has your thinking about the proper role of government changed? Has your evaluation of Texas in regards to its ability to fulfill that role evolved?
