A proton travels via a uniform magnetic and electric fields. The magnetic field is in the negative x direction and consists of a magnitude of around 2.49 mT. At one moment the velocity of the proton is in the positive y direction and consists of a magnitude of 2840 m/s. At that moment, determine the magnitude of the total force acting on the proton when the electric field is (i) in the positive z direction and consists of a magnitude of 4.14 V/m, (ii) in the negative z direction and consists of a magnitude of 4.14 V/m, and (iii) in the positive x direction and consists of a magnitude of around 4.14 V/m?
