Instructions
Download Admissions.xlsx data set. It shows graduate program admission decisions (Yes: 1 and No: 2), GRE score and undergraduate GPA (1: ≥ 3.5 and 2: < 3.5) for fifty students.
Task:
Fit a binary logistic regression model with admission decision as the dependent variable, GRE and GPA as the independent variables.
o Evaluate the goodness of fit of the model.
o Determine the significance of independent variables.
o Interpret odds ratios for independent variables.
o State the binary logistic regression equation.
o Evaluate the classification accuracy of the model.
o Check if the residuals are independent.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
o Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
